What this is
1000 Hours of Product is a volunteer effort run by City Technologies, Inc. Experienced product people donate time to help founders and early-stage teams. These terms explain how the program works and what you agree to by signing up.
No guaranteed match
Signing up puts you on the list, but it does not guarantee a match or a specific timeline. We make introductions based on fit and volunteer availability.
No fees, no equity
Help is given freely. Founders do not pay for the time donated, and volunteers do not receive equity or compensation for their help through the program.
You keep the work
Founders own their intellectual property and any work produced during the help sessions. Volunteers agree not to claim ownership of ideas, designs, code, or other materials shared with them.
Confidentiality
Volunteers agree to keep what they learn about your business, product, and users confidential. Founders should also respect volunteers' time and any sensitive information they share.
Be respectful
We reserve the right to remove anyone from the program for harassment, abuse, misuse of shared information, or behavior that makes the program worse for others.
Privacy
Your use of the site is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update these terms as the program evolves. The latest version will always be posted here.
